Admin panel section: Edge processing → Angled cut (/admin/v2.php?r=edge-edit-srez).
What it does
A diagonal cut across the full panel thickness at a given angle — not a narrow chamfer on an edge, but a full slice through the whole thickness. Primary use: edge-to-edge 90° joints — each panel is cut at 45°, the edges line up perfectly with no visible end-grain (stone/quartz countertops, MDF front frames, window sills).
Fields
- Angle (deg)
- How far to tilt the saw blade or cutter from vertical:
- 45° — classic two-panel 90° joint.
- 30° — three-panel «triangular prism» joint.
- 22.5° — four-panel 90° joint (octagon).
- 60° — non-standard or decorative joints.
- Tool diameter
- Optional. Set it if different machines in your shop carry different-diameter saws — the generator will pick the right program.
- Price per m
- Cost per linear meter.
- Machine
- A CNC or panel saw with tiltable blade. List the machine in Settings → Machine services with the «angled cut» operation. A regular edge bander with no tilt axis cannot run this operation.
Cut or chamfer?
- Chamfer — narrow decorative bevel on an edge (2–5 mm), full thickness preserved.
- Angled cut — full-thickness slice at an angle, two panels meet «corner-to-corner» with no end-grain showing.
